The A*Men EDT, also known as “Angel Man,” came out in 1996, the first-ever male fragrance crafted for the luxury brand. 

The brand’s fragrance line blew up after the Angel perfume in 1992, a fruity patchouli scent that defined “Gourmand” as a new olfactory family.

It was a true masterpiece by perfumers Yves de Chirin and Oliver Cresp. 

Four years later, Thierry Mugler worked with perfumer Jacques Huclier to create the masculine rendition of the Angel perfume. 

The Angel Men cologne subsequently proved a huge success, the same timeless masterpiece as the original Angel. 

This masculine version takes the character of a contemporary hero, a confident and adventurous man who knows his strength and has the ambition to conquer the world and put it in a bottle.

It takes the chocolaty patchouli heart of Angel then adds tar to come up with another successful creation that screams masculinity throughout its fragrance lifetime.

Like a real superhero, the Angel Men EDT has had many revivals or sequels over the years.
