Givenchy – Ange Ou Demon Le Secret: Overview, Smell, Notes & More!
Ange Ou Demon Le Secret by Givenchy can be best categorized as a floral fragrance for modern women.
Although the cologne was originally launched in 2009, it was reintroduced to the market in 2014 after an immensely positive response, with the composition remaining true to its predecessorʼs theme of jasmine tea and white flowers.
In todayʼs text, weʼll take a long, hard look at the 2014 version.
The actress, Uma Thurman, spearheaded the advertising campaign of the original Ange Ou Demon whereas model, Kati Nescher, took over the reins for the modern iteration.

What Does Givenchy Ange Ou Demon Le Secret Smell Like?
Letʼs talk about the aroma of the Givenchy Ange Ou Demon Le Secret.
With just a couple of spritzes, youʼll immediately detect notes of lemon and cranberry, giving the scent a citrusy opening.
Thankfully, the aroma is delightfully sour and not sharp.
As time passes, the sourness fades away, giving way to green tea notes and a bright and uplifting orange floral smell.
During this time, youʼll find the scent bright, fresh, and airy.
A hint of amber, clean musk, and patchouli then take center stage, with the sweetness of the aroma still lingering in the background.
In a nutshell, you could say that the Ange Ou Demon Le Secret offers a lovely, fruity, floral scent that feels relaxed, casual, and fun.
How Long Does Givenchy Ange Ou Demon Le Secret Last For?
Regrettably, I donʼt think that the Ange Ou Demon Le Secret is as long-lasting as it should be.
On average, you can get Le Secret to last around 3–5 hours.
To increase its lasting power, consider layering it with citrus oil.
Or, you can simply keep reapplying it every time the scent fades away.
However, I donʼt think that’s a practical solution considering its price.
On the upside, despite being a light scent, the Demon Le Secret does project well.
In essence, you can expect to get compliments every time you wear it as your signature scent.
When Should You Wear It?
There are a couple of things that make the Ange ou Démon Le Secret a good feminine perfume.
First of all, it is quite inoffensive, making it absolutely perfect to wear to the office.
Secondly, it is quite versatile.
As a result, it is appropriate for summer and works well during autumn and winter too.
This easy-to-wear sweet perfume can be worn for casual gatherings and special occasions both during the daytime and at night – it’s the ideal everyday-wear scent.
Presentation and Value For Money
As you must have deduced already, Iʼm a big fan of the freshness and hidden sensuality of this feminine aroma, so much so that I can even forgive its poor lasting performance.
If I’m to judge this product on its aroma alone, it is one of the most amazing perfumes on the market.
However, if I have to look at it from a critical viewpoint, I canʼt deny the fact that the product doesnʼt fully offer bang for your buck.
So, only go for this product if youʼre loaded and addicted to its intoxicating fresh aroma.
It also helps that the sweet fragrance comes packed in a gorgeous bottle.
The Bottom Line
Go for the Ange Ou Demon Le Secret if you want to experience love at first sniff.
This fresh, clean, light, breezy, everyday perfume is certain to earn you so many compliments.
Of course, like all fragrances on the market, it isnʼt perfect as it has below-average longevity.
However, if you can overlook that one critical flaw, youʼll be left fully satisfied with the great smell of the perfume.
Trust me—it has the potential to become your favorite perfume!
Perfumes that Smell Like Givenchy Ange Ou Demon Le Secret
When I tried the Ange Ou Demon Le Secret for the first time, I was immediately reminded of Elie Saab EDT and Shalimar Parfum Initial L´eau EDT.
I found that all three products were in the same “vein” owing to their clean, fresh, dry, citrus-floral aroma.
Youʼll also find the dry-down phase of Le Secret quite similar to Endless Euphoria by Calvin Klein.
Additionally, you may get Versace Eros Pour Femme EDT vibes due to the similar fresh sweet tea and lemon characteristics.
